About The Author
Kenneth W. Fulford is a distinguished Hampton University alumnus who earned his Bachelor of Arts in Art in 1979. During his time at the university, he was honored with the Honors Council Award for Outstanding Achievement in Art for the 1978–79 academic year, recognizing both his artistic talent and academic dedication.
With a creative career spanning more than twenty years, Kenneth developed his artistic vision under the guidance of respected mentors including Dr. Lorraine Bolton, Janice Orr, and Robert Rodeck. His professional background includes technical photography and work with several established studios, where he refined both his artistic and technical skills.
In addition to his work in the arts, Kenneth retired from the State of North Carolina after more than thirty years of public service. He served primarily with the Department of Transportation as a Program Coordinator II and was awarded the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, the state's highest honor for exemplary service. Today, he continues his creative journey as a freelance art photographer.
